Established over 30 years and turning over $1bil+, this company currently have multiple civil projects all through Australia and have offices in QLD, NSW, ACT, VIC, SA and WA providing established systems in QA and OHS and measured success delivering major projects well over $200mil.
Due to the appointment of a new General Manager and successful tendering of quality projects for 2012-2013 and beyond, a vacancy has opened for an experienced Construction Manger to lead the team on urban style civil projects including:

Major highway construction and upgrade,

Road and rail bridges,
-
Residential and industrial subdivisions
-
Bulk earthworks
-
Rail
-
Infrastructure
The successful candidate will need to have Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering and have had a minimum 10 years experience overseeing and driving a team of Project Managers.
Reporting to the General Manager and board of directors you will be required to oversee the following:

Manage and coordinate a team of 6 Project Mangers

Plan, organise, direct, control and coordinate the construction of civil engineering projects

Work in conjunction with the Estimating Manager to make decisions on tenders
