NOW Careers is currently recruiting on behalf of a nationally acclaimed organisation for a Civil / Mechanical / Project Engineer.
This company is a major supplier in the civil and building industry and is currently building large internal infrastructure including a material handling plant and rail line.
 
The Position:
As this project is underway they urgently require a Civil/Mechanical  Engineer / Project Engineer that has had previous exposure to large projects including:
Civil: Earthworks, foundations, rail line, access roads
Mech: Conveyor systems, crushing plants steel structures
 
Reporting to and working alongside the Project Manager you will be part of a team consisting of Civil/Mech Engineers, Environmental Engineers, Project Managers and a variety of sub-contractors.
 
This project is due for completion in December 2013 so you will be employed on a permanent basis for the duration.
 
This site is located in Marulan just north west of Goulburn. You will be on-site 5 days per week, some Saturdays will be required and a site based vehicle will be provided.
 
This is a close knit project team with high  intensity on-site ,there is a high level of activity so you will possess a strong work ethic and take pride in delivering this landmark project
 
Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ensuring all tasks relating to the project activities are in compliance with plans and client requirements including QA, OH&S, environmental and regulatory.
• Successfully adhering to project time frames and ensuring costs are kept within budget constraints including cost forecasting and reporting.
• Prepare, Implement and review quality requirements.
• Supervising Site Engineers, sub contractors and others on-site .
• Planning and coordination of construction works.
