Our client has an immediate requirement for a Site Foreman for a 10-12 week contract based 15mins South of Brisbanes CBD. Based on-site at the University of Queenslands campus you will over see the installation of a large glass, cladding and facades element of a 4-storey building. The glazing and facades are initially manufactured in the Middle East and will be shipped over for installation on this new-build University building.
Reporting to the Project Manager you will be responsible for the following;

Management and supervision of the subcontractor installing the glazing

Supervise all OH&S procedures

Manage on-site personnel and coordinate activity on-site

Will Attend Site-coordination meetings with the head contractor

While reporting to the PM you will assist with the programming of the construction project, helping deliver the project on-time and within budget
It is expected suitable candidates will possess the following;
-
A Carpentry background
-
Will have had experience as a hands on foreman
-
Experience managing installation of facades, curtain walling, glass curtain walling would be ideal but not essential

Keep full site documentation of all day to day activities on-site

Experience working as a Site Foreman / Manager for either or both head building contractors and specialist subcontractors

Will be available for employment immediately and happy to work on a contract basis.
