NOW Careers is currently recruiting for an experienced Civil Site Foreman to work with one of Australia's most respected Civil Contractors. Specialising in DTMR projects including roads, drainage, bulk earth works, and retaining walls, this company has built up a solid reputation and has a very strong pipeline of works in Mackay.
 
Due to the commencement of a large Highway construction project the services of an experienced Site Foreman are required for this new build and duplication road project. Based local to Mackay you will be based on-site and provided with all tools of the trade including vehicle, phone, laptop etc.
 
To be successful in this role you will need to have minimum 5 years on-site bulk excavation/earthworks and roads experience, and possess the relevant experience and skills to be able to deliver DTMR projects.
 
Reporting to a Project Manager your responsibilities will be to:
 

• Induct all new staff
• Coordinate site staff and control day to day activities
• Organise sub contractors
• Manage the quality of the project
• Interpret construction drawing
• Conduct regular safety audits
• OHS and Environmental management
• Materials Ordering
• Drive your team to assure productivity
