Employer Profile:
NOW Careers client have an excellent history in the Sydney market, turning over in excess of $100 million across 3 areas of the business. With 80 staff, a full order book and an extensive list of jobs to be tendered the future is looking very encouraging. Although this is a contract role it would go permanent for the correct candidate. This business try very hard to make sure there are no glass ceilings with internal development key to their continued success. That being said they appreciate the services of a professional contractor who may only be interested in short term contract roles.
The role:
NOW Careers client are looking to extend their estimating department, whilst they are in the process of doing this they require an experience estimator on a contract basis - probably for 2 months. This may well create a permanent opportunity but it is envisaged this role would suit a professional contractor.
Markets include: Aged Care, Resi., Industrial and Commercial with a mixture of hard dollar, cost planning and Design & Construct.
Qualifications:
The successful candidate will:
Have relevant tertiary qualifications.
Accumulated at least 5+ years Industry experience within commercial construction.
Experience with the likes of: Grindley, Southern Cross, FDC, Buildcorp, Richard Crooks etc would be ideal.
